A new major contract in Mozambique

CIS has signed a contract valued around $ 50 million for a period of 36 months, with the Brazilian mining group Vale as part of the construction project of two additional railway sections from Malawi till the Moatize mine (Province of Tete) and from the Nacala Porto till Nacala-a-Velha (30 km), well as a new coal terminal in Nacala-a-Velha.

The CIS contract comprises the construction of a kitchen and a restaurant (600 seats) and catering services on the main camp of Nacala-a-Velha and on two remote sites on the railroad tracks, with catering to a daily population of 3500-5500 people and accommodation and laundry of the 730 residents of the base camp.
