CIS wins a strategic oil contract
alongside ExxonMobil in Chad
CIS consolidates its positions in Chad where the Group has been supporting leading global petroleum Groups like ExxonMobil, Glencore and United Hydrocarbon for the last 17 years.
Following an international call for tenders, ExxonMobil, the world's largest traded oil group, selected CIS to manage the remote site of Komé, located in the south of the country, 600 km from N'Djamena, for a period of 3 years, renewable 2 years.
CIS will assure catering, living accommodations, cleaning, laundry and facilities management services for 400 agents, or nearly 420,000 meals per year.
CIS is present on this project since our client started up operations in this country in 2001. ExxonMobil appreciated the quality of services provided by CIS and, in 2016, awarded it with the "Award of Excellence» for its staff members’ compliance with safety rules.
ExxonMobil also assessed CIS’ involvement in the socio-economic development of this area of operation and, in particular, its policy of training the population and nationalizing management posts. In 2016, 100% of CIS positions required by our client on this project are occupied by national staff.
Perfectly in line with the ARISE 500 plan, this new concretization allows CIS to strengthen its positions in this area and confirms the confidence and satisfaction of its customer.
