Building on an exceptional 21 year track record of uninterrupted presence in this country from Moscow to Sakhalin, CIS recently won several major contracts.
The first contract for a budget of US$21 million was signed with one of world’s leading platinum producers, Russian Platinum for a three-year term. For this contract, the Group has to provide catering, accommodations and logistics services for 1,200 people at the Kondyor platinum mine. Located in the eastern part of the country, this mine is considered to represent one of the largest reserves of platinum deposits in the world.
Maintaining this momentum, the Group also won a new contract with Rosneft, Russia’s second-largest oil producer, to provide cleaning and maintenance services for all buildings of the Sakhnipi petroleum production area in Eastern Siberia.
Finally, CIS successfully renewed its contract for a nine-month term with Van Oord, the leading Dutch specialist for marine engineering, dredging and offshore energy projects (oil, gas and wind). On this basis, CIS has to provide catering, accommodations and maintenance services for two offshore platforms of this group.
These new contracts will significantly strengthen the Group’s positions in this region offering strong development potential in the mining and petroleum sectors.
